JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Santiago Chávez and J.C. Millan each homered on Saturday as the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp upended the Montgomery Biscuits 6-2 at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Santiago Chávez and J.C. Millan each homered on Saturday as the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp upended the Montgomery Biscuits 6-2 at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. A crowd of 6,451 enjoyed a Jumbo Shrimp hat giveaway and Saturday Night Fireworks, both presented by 121 Financial and RJ Young.
In a scoreless game, Montgomery (37-24) starter Riley O'Brien (2-4) walked Joe Dunand to begin the second. After an error, Millan doubled in Dunand for the game's first run. Bryson Brigman drew another free pass before a wild pitch scored Stone Garrett. John Silviano's sacrifice fly then made it 3-0 Jacksonville (24-38).

The Biscuits finally got on the board in the fourth inning on a Jesús Sánchez homer off Jumbo Shrimp starter Jorge Guzman (2-6). A Kevin Padlo sacrifice fly in the sixth sliced the Jacksonville lead to 3-2.
The Jumbo Shrimp started the seventh with a base hit by Brigman and double from Silviano. Chavez then smashed a three-run shot to widen the advantage to 6-2. Millan's two-run bomb in the eighth extended the margin to 8-2. 
Guzman earned the win with two runs on four hits in 5.2 innings. Kolton Mahoney earned his first save with 3.1 scoreless frames, ceding just two hits while striking out four.

Jacksonville hosts Montgomery at 3:05 p.m. on Sunday from the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. A helicopter will drop candy on the field to kick off Toy Story Night along with a plastic army falling from the sky. Plus, slinky dogs and curly fries will be available to purchase from the concession stands along with Woody and Jessie from "Toy Story" in attendance at the ballpark. On a Baptist Health Sunday Family FUNday, families are welcome to play catch on the field before the game, plus Jumbo Shrimp players will be signing autographs. Each Sunday also features free face painting, balloon animals and popular kids show and movie characters roaming the park.
