Chiefs Announce 2020 Giveaways

PEORIA, IL - The Peoria Chiefs have announced 17 giveaways for the 2020 season that joins the five bobblehead dates and 22 firework shows as part of the promotional schedule. Some of the notable giveaways include a baseball bat can cooler, a Chiefs Fanny Pack and two En El Rio related giveaways on COPA nights.
A portion of the giveaway schedule features kids-only items. The first kids' giveaway is on April 19, where the first 250 kids 12 and under will receive a Chiefs fidget spinner. Both May and June include one exclusive kids' giveaway, with the first 250 kids 12 and under receiving a Chiefs drawstring backpack on May 31 and the first 500 kids 12 and under get an eye patch on June 18. On July 5, the first 500 kids 12 and under receive Chiefs flair hair. The final kids' giveaway is on September 6 where the first 500 fans 12 and under will receive a Chiefs Youth baby blue replica jersey, sponsored by Hardee's.
As always, the Chiefs will kick off the 2020 home season by giving away a 2020 magnet schedule to the first 2,500 fans. On May 29, Star Wars Night, the first 1,000 fans will receive a lightsaber. The following night, May 30, the first 1,000 fans receive a Chiefs fanny pack. The Chiefs are also home on Father's Day and will give a Chiefs logo baseball bat can holder to the first 1,000 fans 13 and over.
In the second half of the season, the Chiefs will give away a team logo sign to the first 1,000 fans on July 11. The next day, Sunday, July 12, the first 1000 fans (all ages) get a Chiefs beach towel. Other giveaways include Hawaiian leis on July 25, a Homer Olympic garden gnome on August 16 and a variety of fan appreciation giveaways will be distributed on September 5.
In conjunction with our COPA initiative, the Chiefs will have two En El Rio giveaways. On June 19, the first 1,000 fans will receive an En El Rio scarf. On September 4, an En El Rio Cuban (Fedora) hat will go to the first 1,000 fans.
New this year, a t-shirt giveaway will go to both kids and adults alike. On August 14, the first 500 kids and 500 adults will receive a Chiefs themed Harry Potter t-shirt. Additional promotions, theme nights and specialty jerseys will be announced later this month.
Chiefs Season & Group Tickets
Season ticket packages and group tickets for the 2020 season are currently on sale by calling 309-680-4000. The 2020 season kicks off April 9 in Davenport, Iowa with the home opener against the Beloit Snappers set for Monday, April 13 at 6:35 p.m. Individual game tickets will go on sale in early March.
