PEORIA – The Peoria Chiefs have announced a number of front office additions as preparations for the 2027 season at Dozer Park are underway.
James Boatwright has joined the organization as the Director of Corporate Partnerships, Rachel Lindstrom has joined as Director of Marketing & Promotions and Amy Winter has taken on the role of Manager of Creative Services.
“As we look ahead to 2027 and beyond, we’re excited to welcome James, Rachel and Amy to the staff,” Chiefs General Manager Jason Mott said. “Since joining the crew last month, their contributions have been vast and I’m eager to see how their fresh perspectives contribute to the club this upcoming season.”
Boatwright joins the Chiefs after spending the last two seasons with the Oak Island Loggerheads in summer collegiate baseball. After interning for the club in 2025, he was promoted to General Manager in 2026.
The UNC-Wilmington and West Virginia University graduate has taken a winding path into the sports world after spending six years in the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. Before graduating from WVU with a Master’s degree in Sports Management, Boatwright was a certified personal trainer and started his own athletic training facility.
Lindstrom brings experience from multiple professional and summer collegiate league teams to the Chiefs front office. After spending the 2025 season as the Marketing Coordinator for the Greenville Yard Gnomes, Lindstrom was the Director of Marketing and Promotions for the Down East Bird Dawgs of the Frontier League during the 2026 season.
Lindstrom oversaw all branding and promotional initiatives for the club and helped drive a massive increase in the team’s visibility on social media. Rachel, a North Carolina native, graduated from East Carolina University in 2025.
Winter is a familiar face at Dozer Park after serving as the team’s Digital Media Intern in 2026. Before graduating from Illinois State in May with a degree in public relations, Winter obtained experience across multiple professional and collegiate sports.
The Illinois’ native interned for two summers with the Frontier League’s Schaumburg Boomers in the Promotions and Social Media department. Winter gained further experience during the school year with ISU Athletics and worked as a Broadcasting and Media Relations intern for the Bloomington Bison’s inaugural season. She also worked the 2025 MLB All-Star Game as an Experience Team Member.
The 2027 season is set to begin on April 2, as Peoria hosts the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on Opening Night. Dozer Park will remain active during the holiday season with the Holiday Lights at the Ballpark Display, Nov. 12- Jan. 2. For more information, visit PeoriaChiefs.com.
