Chiefs Game Postponed Sunday

Peoria, IL - The Peoria Chiefs and Burlington Bees game scheduled for Sunday has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up on Thursday, May 31 as part of a doubleheader between the teams starting at 5:00 p.m. at Dozer Park.

     To avoid consecutive double headers, the previously scheduled double header for Wednesday, May 30 will now be moved to Tuesday, May 29. That gives the Chiefs and Bees a double header Tuesday at 5:00 p.m., a single game Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and a double header Thursday at 5:00 p.m. for a five-game, three-day series.
    The Chiefs will host the Cedar Rapids Kernels on Monday at 6:30 p.m. to start a four-game series. As of now the pitching probables for both teams are up in the air as Cedar Rapids was also postponed at home on Sunday.
