Manchester, NH - The Portland Sea Dogs (18-34) were trailing 7-2 after six innings but scored five in the seventh, and five more times in the 10th inning to beat the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (33-19), 12-9 in 10 innings on Thursday afternoon at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.

Sea Dogs SS Jeremy Rivera had a career day, driving in four runs, and delivered a two-run single in the seventh to bring Portland within three runs. Josh Ockimey (1-for-3, 3 RBI, 2 SF) hit a sacrifice fly, and Tate Matheny tied the game with a two-run double.
In the 10th inning, Nick Lovullo blooped an RBI single to give the 'Dogs an 8-7 lead. Rivera reached on a two-base error to plate two runs. Jantzen Witte followed with a sacrifice fly, and Ockimey drove in the final run with a single.
Jordan Weems pitched the 10th inning and allowed two unearned runs but fanned Juan Kelley to end the game.
Lefty Josh Taylor worked two scoreless innings to earn his first win in the Red Sox system. Nick Hartman allowed five runs (one earned) and took the loss for the Fisher Cats.
Portland jumped on the board early, taking a 1-0 lead against Jon Harris. Rivera led off the game with a single and scored on a sac-fly by Ockimey. New Hampshire responded, scoring four times off Dedgar Jimenez in their first turn. Bo Bichette and Max Pentecost each homered. 
The Fisher Cats made it 5-1 in the second inning on Bichette's sac-fly. Rivera came through against with an RBI double in the fifth inning to cut the deficit to 5-2. New Hampshire added two runs off Daniel McGrath in the fifth and sixth innings.
The Portland Sea Dogs open up a three-game weekend series with the Harrisburg Senators (Nationals affiliate) on Friday night at FNB Field. Lefty Kyle Hart (3-3, 3.22) takes on Right-hander Kyle McGowin (2-0, 2.89). First pitch from Harrisburg, Pa is 7:00 PM.
