Cougars Release Economic Impact Statement
GENEVA, Ill. - The Kane County Cougars and their fans have provided a major impact to the Kane County economy since the organization's inaugural season in 1991. In 2019 alone, the Cougars generated over $11 million for the city, according to a recent economic impact study conducted by the organization.

In 2019 alone, the Cougars generated over $11 million for the city, according to a recent economic impact study conducted by the organization.
Some of the highlights from the 2019 season include over $4.9 million invested into the community by ballpark visitors, 499 seasonal and full-time jobs as well as Foundation giving that totaled $1,054,980. Money spent at the ballpark includes tickets, concessions, souvenirs and parking.
"Over the last 29 years, the community has seen first hand that the Cougars have become far more than just a baseball team," said owner Dr. Bob Froehlich. "As an organization, we have established a reputation beyond the baseball field and our motto of affordable family fun. We're committed to making a difference in our community year-round."
