Continuing Hurricane Relief Efforts in the Community
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC: The Augusta GreenJackets are excited to announce additional community initiatives in the wake of Hurricane Helene. SRP Park has been added to the roster of locations for the Spooky to be Hungry campaign with Golden Harvest Food Bank on Thursday, October 24th, as well as a CSRA Strong T-Shirt with all proceeds benefiting Golden Harvest.
The Hurricane Relief T-Shirt will be a pre-order at the Hive Pro Shop online only for $20 per shirt. All proceeds from the pre-orders will go back to Golden Harvest Food Bank as they continue providing critical items for families in the CSRA recovering from Hurricane Helene. T-Shirts ordered by October 31st will be shipped out by November 11th.

“We are excited to open SRP Park for this annual Halloween Trick or Treat and movie event to bring the community together,” stated GreenJackets Vice President Tom Denlinger. “Working with our friends at Golden Harvest Food Bank and the Spooky to be Hungry Campaign we look forward to the community coming out and stuffing the bins full as the need is great.”
In addition to the Dugout Theater Movie Night on Thursday, October 24th, guests attending the event are welcome to bring items that can be donated to Golden Harvest Food Bank as part of their Spooky to be Hungry Campaign. Each guest will then be entered to win great GreenJackets prizes.
Items Needed Include but not limited too:
- Non-Perishable Food
- Bottled Water
- Toiletries
- Paper Towels
- Batteries
- Baby Supplies
Dugout Theater Movie Night will be showing family-favorite Casper (1996) on the state-of-the-art videoboard where they can relax in the outfield of SRP Park or in the lower-level seating bowl. Blankets and pillows are encouraged for seating on the field, but chairs will not be permitted.

Kids are encouraged to dress up to trick or treat from 5:45pm – 6:45pm as vendors and Auggie will be set up on the first base side of concourse, along with various vendors from around the CSRA: Vendors include: Aggressor Adventures, Augusta Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Augusta Sports Council, Augusta Technical College, Aurubis Richmond, Conceal, Crowne Plaza of North Augusta, Jani-King of Augusta, Lions Club of North Augusta, Merry Maids, North Augusta Chamber of Commerce, North Augusta Family YMCA, North Augusta School of Dance, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Southern Industries, SRP Federal Credit Union, Wellstar MCG Health, and Stark Plumbing!
Concessions will be available for purchase including Coca-Cola beverages, hotdogs, nachos, adult beverages and more! Outside food and beverage is not permitted at SRP Park.
Parking for Dugout Theater is available in the Stadium Deck at $6 per car.
