Dallas Stars Night highlights week-long homestand in Frisco

FRISCO, Texas (August 5, 2019) - The RoughRiders play at home Monday, August 5 through Sunday, August 11, with another great week of family fun and entertainment in the works.
The Riders host Dallas Stars Night on Saturday, celebrating the upcoming season for the team. Mascot Victor E. Green will join the fun, which also includes a street hockey setup in the centerfield plaza. The first 1,500 fans through the gates receive a special Riders-themed Stars jersey.
Before the Stars celebration begins, the Riders and Whataburger are teaming up to celebrate their loyal fans with Whataburger Fan Appreciation Night on Friday. The first 1,500 fans receive a free Whataburger Pez dispenser and the night includes Whataburger-themed contests, including the fan-favorite Whataburger Horse Race.
Fans will also be treated to a Woodstock-themed night with Friscostock on Thursday, and the week concludes Sunday with Back To School Night & ESports Night, presented by Dippin' Dots. Plus, free fireworks shows follow the games on Friday and Saturday.
Other regular favorites, including the Deep Ellum Brewing Party @ The Yard, are also back during the seven-game homestand. A full rundown of the week is listed below.

* Half Off For Hunger: Fans who bring canned food items to donate will receive half off select seats.

Wednesday, August 7 vs. Corpus Christi - 7:05 p.m.
* Texas Chili Company Weiner Wednesday, presented by Aaron's: Hot dogs are just $1 all game.
* Kids runs the bases after the game.
Thursday, August 8 vs. Amarillo - 7:05 p.m.
* Friscostock: Travel back in time as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Woodstock.
* Deep Ellum Brewing Party @ The Yard: Be part of the BIGGEST party in North Texas, which includes $1 beers, a live DJ and a great social scene. Tickets start at just $10 and fans can upgrade their party by taking it to the lazy river for just $25 (fans 21 & older only).
* Thirsty Thursday: Quench your thirst with $1 domestic draft beers, $2 craft and imports, and $1 Dr Pepper products from 6-8 p.m.

* Dallas Stars Night: The Riders welcome the Stars and their fans to Frisco to celebrate the coming season. The evening includes a visit from mascot Victor E. Green and a street hockey setup in the centerfield plaza.
* Sky-Lit Saturday, presented by Lexus: Watch fireworks from the field after the game.
Sunday, August 11 vs. Amarillo - 6:05 p.m.
* Back to School & ESports Night, presented by Dippin' Dots: Get your game on with a special setup in the Bull Moose Saloon.
* RoughRiders Water Bottle Giveaway, presented by CoServ (first 1,000 kids 12 & younger).
* Kids Sunday Funday: Play catch on the field from 5:00-5:30 and enjoy our new Kids Zone throughout the game. Riders Kids Club members get a free ticket to all Sunday home games.

The Frisco RoughRiders are the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers and play their games at beautiful Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, Texas. The team was founded in 2003 and has finished first among all Double-A franchises in attendance in each of the last 14 seasons (2005-2018).
