Everett, WA - David Banuelos has been named the Northwest League Player of the Week for his performance for the week of July 17-23. Banuelos has been on a tear during the current homestand hitting .450 and collecting 18 total bases in four games. 

Everett, WA - David Banuelos has been named the Northwest League Player of the Week for his performance for the week of July 17-23. Banuelos has been on a tear during the current homestand hitting .450 and collecting 18 total bases in four games. 

Since July 8, Banuelos has increased his batting average from .208 to .305. David enjoys having runners in scoring position. This season with runners in scoring position he's hitting .524 with 17 RBI.
Earlier this year Banuelos was selected as a 2017 Johnny Bench Award Finalist which is presented to the collegiate catcher whose talent, toughness, and integrity most closely resembled the legend after whom the award was named. 2012 Everett AquaSox and current Seattle Mariner, Mike Zunino was honored with this award for his play at Florida.
