But it was Edouard Julien, the club’s No. 14 prospect, who stood out the most. On a four-hit night, he connected on two home runs for the second consecutive game. Austin Martin, the Twins' No. 12 prospect, collected three hits and the organization mates combined to score six runs. Brewers No. 6 prospect Tyler Black also recorded a four-hit performance, including a double, with a pair of RBIs and a run scored for the Desert Dogs. Baltimore's No. 9 prospect Heston Kjerstad opened the scoring in the first with a solo homer and Boston's fourth-ranked prospect Nick Yorke connected on a grand slam in the second for the Scorpions. Peoria 2, Surprise 1
Kumar Rocker allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks while striking out three over 2 2/3 innings in Surprise’s loss to Peoria. The outing marked the fourth AFL appearance for Texas’ eighth-ranked prospect, and none of the previous three had lasted longer than two frames or 43 pitches. He threw 53 pitches (31 for strikes) before exiting. Fifth-ranked Pirates prospect Nick Gonzales connected on a game-tying solo home run for the Saguaros with two outs in the fifth. It was the third long ball of the Fall League for the 23-year-old. No. 21 Mariners prospect Robert Perez Jr. opened the scoring with an RBI fielder's choice in the first for the Javelinas. Connor Kokx (Guardians) provided the difference for Peoria with a two-out single that plated Cleveland's 11th-ranked prospect Angel Martinez in the sixth. Righty Bryan Woo (SEA 15) lowered his Fall League ERA to 1.17 after tossing a pair of scoreless frames with three punchouts for the Javelinas. More »

After going 2-for-4 with his first AFL homer Saturday, Owen Caissie picked up where he left off for the Solar Sox. Chicago’s No. 10 prospect went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored. It was the left-handed slugger’s second straight two-hit performance after he didn’t have multiple knocks in his first eight contests. Cardinals left-hander Connor Thomas -- the AFL strikeout leader with 24 -- made it through four perfect innings for Salt River before surrendering a two-out double to Tyler Hardman in the fifth. Top Cardinals prospect Jordan Walker slugged his third homer of the Fall League -- and first since Oct. 10 -- to account for the Rafters' offense. Mesa starter Mason Miller (OAK 20) scattered four strikeouts and two hits over three scoreless innings, while A's No. 10 prospect Denzel Clarkedrove in Caissie with a double in the eighth and scored later in the frame on a balk. And third-ranked D-backs prospect Jordan Lawlar left the Fall League after suffering a fractured left scapula on a hit-by-pitch. He will be out for six to eight weeks. More »
