ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Tacoma Rainiers (45-42) were shut out 2-0 by the Albuquerque Isotopes (44-42) on Thursday night at Isotopes Park.
First baseman Daniel Vogelbach (1x4), left fielder John Andreoli (1x1), and second baseman Zach Vincej (1x3) collected the Rainiers only hits of the night, as the offense managed just a trio of singles and three walks while being shut out for just the third time this season.

Rainiers starting pitcher Ross Detwiler worked the entire game - he allowed just two runs on eight hits across eight innings of work while walking one and striking out one. He worked the complete game - just the second complete game effort of his professional career - on 93 pitches, 63 of which were strikes.
The Rainiers and Isotopes continue their series on Friday night at 5:35 p.m. PT. Right-hander Williams Pérez (1-0, 0.82) will get the start for Tacoma, while Albuquerque will hand the ball to left-hander Brett Oberholtzer (4-6, 6.10).
