Akron, Ohio - The Akron RubberDucks (32-31) scored six unanswered runs and beat the Portland Sea Dogs (29-34), 8-3, Saturday night at Canal Park in front of a sellout crowd of 8,284 fans. The 'Dogs have dropped the first 2 games of the series and are 1-4 during their 9-game roadtrip.

Portland trailed 2-0 heading to the third inning but took a 3-2 lead against Tanner Tully (win). Denier Lopez reached on two errors and ended up at third base. Danny Mars grounded an RBI single to right field and Rafael Devers hit a two-run homer. Devers has three homers in his last four games and 13 on the season.
Tully, who was called up from Low-A Lake County, hurled six innings on six hits, three runs (all unearned) on two walks and one strikeout.
Kevin McAvoy (1-5) suffered the loss, allowing eight hits and six runs (five earned) over 4+ innings pitched.
Akron rallied back after Portland's top of the fifth, scoring four runs in their half of the fifth. Francisco Mejía led off the rally with a walk and Bobby Bradley hit a two-run homer. Connor Marabell provided a run-scoring fielder's choice. In the eighth, Luigi Rodriguez hit a two-run homer off Jake Cosart.
Mars finished 2-for-5 and Cole Sturgeon had two hits for Portland. Williams Jerez worked three scoreless innings on three hits and two strikeouts.
The Sea Dogs and Akron RubberDucks (Indians affiliate) wrap up their three-game series on Sunday afternoon at Canal Park with a 12:05 PM first pitch. RHP Travis Lakins (0-4, 8.14) makes his sixth start of the season. RHP Matt Esparza will make his fourth Double-A start for Akron.
