Columbus, OH --- The Durham Bulls hit three solo home runs, while pitching 14 shutout innings en route to a doubleheader sweep over the Columbus Clippers, culminating a 6-0 road trip on Sunday afternoon, one of the longest unbeaten road trips in club history.
Jake Cronenworth supplied the only run of the opening game with a home run to right-center in the sixth inning. Cole Sulser (W, 2-2) registered the win, with Oliver Drake (S, 4) fanning the side in order in the seveth to earn the save.
Casey Sadler pitched four scoreless innings starting the opener before yileding to left-hander Hoby Milner, who retired two key left-handed batters.
In the second game, Mike Brosseau cranked a long home run halfway up the centerfield batters' eye against former Durham pitcher Chih-Wei Hu to give Durham (12-10) a 1-0 lead. Kean Wong then homered against Hu in the sixth for a 2-0 lead.
Jake Faria (W, 1-0) retired the first 12 hitters en route to his first win of the season. Andrew Kittredge (S, 1) tossed two scoreless innings for the save.
The Bulls began their six-game road trip 6-10 and five games behind first place Charlotte, yet returned home over .500 for the first time this season, 12-10 and just two games in back of the Knights.  
The trip, which began with a three-game sweep in Louisville, ended with a three-game sweep over the first-place Clippers (14-9) from the West.
Durham returns home Monday night at 7:05 PM ET with Ryan Yarbrough expected to make the start in the first of three against the Norfolk Tides.
