Greenville, S.C. (Aug. 9, 2026) – In one of the craziest games of the 2026 season the Hudson Valley Renegades overcame the Greenville Drive 15-12 in 12 innings on Sunday afternoon at Fluor Field.

At 4 hours, 19 minutes, the game was the longest played by the Renegades in the Yankees Era (2021-Present), and the longest game played by the Renegades since 8/30/10 at Tri-City (4:25).

This was the fifth 12-inning game played by the Renegades in the Yankees Era, with the last coming on 8/11/23 vs Jersey Shore (9-7 win).

The win for Hudson Valley clinched the team’s first six-game road series win since 4/14-19 at Frederick. The Renegades are 2-3-2 in six-game series on the road in 2026.

The Renegades set a new season-high with 15 runs scored. It was their highest run total since a 15-1 win at Asheville on 4/26/25.

The Renegades had three hits in extra innings, all two-run home runs (Enmanuel Tejeda, Maika Niu, and David McCann).

The four home runs hit by the Renegades were the most they have hit in a game since hitting a season-high seven on 6/16 at Rome.

Two players (Maika Niu and David McCann) each had at least four RBIs in the game.

Hudson Valley had three players (Kyle West, David McCann and Bryce Martin-Grudzielanek) each tie the team record with seven at-bats. The last Renegades player with 7 at-bats in a game was Jared Serna on 5/1/24 at Wilmington.

Before Sunday only three Renegades players had 7 ABs in a game since 2017.

The Renegades improved to 5-6 in extra-inning games this season.

Hudson Valley stole five bases on Sunday and finished with 29 steals in the six-game series with the Drive without being caught. The Renegades have stolen 211 bases on the season, the second-most in a single-season in team history (2023) and are stealing 1.99 bases per game.

The Renegades improve to 16-10 all-time in the regular season against the Drive, and 10-5 at Fluor Field. The Renegades are averaging 8.6 runs per game at Fluor Field all-time.

Hudson Valley has won three straight games for the first time since winning three straight games from 7/19-21.

LHP Allen Facundo (4.1 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 4 BB, 9 K) struck out nine batters across 4.1 innings and got no decision.

Facundo leads Yankees minor leaguers with 127 strikeouts this season.

This was the fifth straight start that Facundo failed to complete 5.0 innings dating back to 7/9 vs Rome. During that stretch he has struck out seven-or-more batters three times.

Facundo has walked at least four batters in four straight starts and has three-or-more walks in six straight starts.

Facundo has struck out nine-or-more batters in a game four times with Hudson Valley this season.
