Dodgers Complete Sweep of Isotopes with 4-1 Win

Oklahoma City - Oklahoma City Dodgers pitcher Brock Stewart held the Albuquerque Isotopes without a hit through six innings and the Dodgers scored three late runs on the way to a 4-1 win against the Isotopes Thursday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
With the win, the Dodgers completed a sweep in the three-game series and held the Isotopes to two total runs over the lone series between the teams this season.

Stewart made his 12th start of the season for Oklahoma City and held Albuquerque without a hit through six innings. Albuquerque broke through with a run in the seventh inning, as Stewart held the Isotopes to one run and two hits total over a season-high 7.0 innings with two walks and seven strikeouts.
Ariel Hernández (3-2) followed with a scoreless eighth inning to record the win. Pat Venditte retired all three batters he faced in the ninth inning for his third save as Oklahoma City held the Isotopes to three hits on the night.
The Dodgers broke a scoreless tie in the fifth inning. Angelo Mora led off with a single. Jake Peter followed and singled into center field. Albuquerque center fielder David Dahl, on a rehab assignment from the Colorado Rockies, was charged with a fielding error, allowing Mora to score and Peter to advance to third base with none out.
The Dodgers (57-44) had a chance to add a run in the bottom of the sixth inning. Mora singled into center field. Donovan Solano tried to score from second base on the play, but was thrown out at home by Dahl to keep the Dodgers' lead at 1-0.
In the seventh inning, Ryan McMahon lined a single into right field to lead off the inning for Albuquerque's first hit of the night. He stole second base and came around to score on a two-out single by Shawn O'Malley to tie the game, 1-1.
With one out in the eighth inning, Solano and Edwin Ríos hit back-to-back singles as Solano finished the night with a team-leading three hits. Then with two outs, Connor Joe doubled into left field to bring home Solano to put the Dodgers in the lead, 2-1. Mora followed and drew a walk to load the bases for Jake Peter, who hit a two-run single into center field for a 4-1 Oklahoma City advantage.
Albuquerque reliever Keith Hessler (3-2) was charged with the loss, allowing three runs in the eighth inning. The Isotopes fell to 49-55 on the season with the loss.
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig played the third game of his rehab assignment with Oklahoma City Thursday, going 1-for-4. Over the three games, Puig went a combined 2-for-9 with a walk, RBI, and two runs scored
The OKC Dodgers continue their homestand and open the second ¡Celebración Cielo Azul! of the season Friday when they take the field as Cielo Azul de Oklahoma City against Los Chihuahuas de El Paso at 7:05 p.m.
A mariachi band will perform throughout the night and fireworks, presented by Supermercados Morelos, are scheduled to follow the game.
