Drillers Back at ONEOK Field August 14-19

The Tulsa Drillers will return to ONEOK Field on Tuesday, August 14 for a seven-game homestand. The Corpus Christi Hooks (Houston Astros) will make their second trip to Tulsa for a three-game series August 14-16, followed by the San Antonio Missions (San Diego Padres) for four games August 17-19. The Tulsa Drillers will return to ONEOK Field on Tuesday, August 14 for a seven-game homestand. The Corpus Christi Hooks (Houston Astros) will make their second trip to Tulsa for a three-game series August 14-16, followed by the San Antonio Missions (San Diego Padres) for four games August 17-19. It will be the Missions final trip ever to ONEOK Field as the franchise will be moving to Amarillo, Texas next season.
Promotions for the homestand will include Cody Bellinger Rookie of the Year bobbleheads to the first 1,000 fans on Thursday, August 16. Oklahoma City Thunder Night will take place on Saturday, August 18 with the first 1,500 fans receiving a Drillers and Thunder Drawstring Bag. A night later, on Sunday, August 19, will be a Hornsby Baseball giveaway to the first 500 kids ages 12 and under.
The homestand will also include Hispanic Heritage Night with the Drillers playing as Los Petroleros de Tulsa on Tuesday, August 14, and Bark in the Park on Wednesday, August 15. In addition, Friday, August 17 will now be a doubleheader and FOX23 Friday Night Fireworks and First Responders Night.

The Drillers have played very well at ONEOK Field this year. They are currently 36-21 at home, including 16-7 in the second half. In the first half of the season, the Drillers were 3-3 against Corpus Christi including going 2-1 at home. Against San Antonio, Tulsa was 1-5 and dropped all three games at ONEOK Field.

The Drillers will take the field as Los Petroleros de Tulsa for the fourth time this season as part of Minor League Baseball's Copa de la Diversion program. Los Petroleros will be honoring Tulsa's Hispanic community with culturally-relevant music, concessions and promotions. The Hooks will also don their Copa jerseys as they will take the field as the Raspas.
It is another $2 Tuesday brought to you by TulsaRecycles.com, 2 Works for You and 101.5 El Patron. Fans can purchase General Admission Lawn Tickets for only $2* each, while all other tickets are discounted $3 off normal prices.
Fans can also buy Driller Dogs, boxes of popcorn, cotton candy, ice cream sandwiches and 21 oz soft drinks for $2 each. In addition, fans can save $2 on Mazzio's Go Pizzas.
Also, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, it is Dead Armadillo Happy Hour with Dead Armadillo Low & Outside and Modelo on sale for only $2 on the concourse behind home plate and at the Busch Scoreboard Bar.

Wednesday, August 15 . . . Corpus Christi Hooks (7:05 PM) - Gates Open at 6:00 PM
BARK IN THE PARK / ZOO ANIMALS
Wednesday night will be another Bark in the Park, presented by City of Tulsa: Save our Streams, City Vet Hospital and 100.9 Totally Awesome 80's. Fans are encouraged to bring their canine friends out to the ballpark to enjoy the game from the grass berms or Busch Terrace. Dogs with proper rabies vaccination records will be admitted through the Arvest and Oil Derrick Entrances only.
In addition, there will be a petting zoo by Safari Sanctuary from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM on the outfield concourse.

Thursday, August 16 . . . Corpus Christi Hooks (7:05 PM) - Gates Open at 6:00 PM
MY41 BUCK NIGHT / CODY BELLINGER BOBBLEHEAD GIVEAWAY
The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a free Cody Bellinger Rookie of the Year bobblehead, courtesy of My41 and 103.3 The Eagle. The bobblehead is of the former Driller holding his Rookie of the Year plaque after winning the award with the Dodgers last season. It is the same bobblehead that was given away at Dodger Stadium this season.
It is also another Buck Night which means $1 Budweiser and Bud Light draft beers, along with $1 hot dogs and $1 soft drinks.

Friday, August 17 . . . San Antonio Missions (5:00 PM) - Gates Open at 4:30 PM
DOUBLEHEADER
FOX23 FRIDAY NIGHT FIREWORKS / FIRST RESPONDERS NIGHT
It is another FOX23 Friday Night Fireworks with a fantastic post-game fireworks show that will light up the Tulsa sky following the second game of the doubleheader. The Fireworks Show is presented by 9-1-1 on FOX, FOX23 and K95.5.
The Drillers will also be wearing their 918 jerseys and continuing the celebration of the City of Tulsa with 918 Night.
In addition, it will be First Responders Night. The Drillers will be offering buy one, get one free tickets for all first responders and their families. The Tulsa Police Department, Tulsa Fire Department and EMSA will also have displays on Elgin Avenue. The fire department will also be unveiling its new inflatable mascot.
There will also be a mystery baseball fundraiser hosted by the Drillers player's wives and girlfriends that will benefit the Oklahoma Alliance for Animals. For $20, fans will have an opportunity to purchase a grab bag with a mystery signed baseball from Drillers, Oklahoma City Dodgers, and Major League players. Autographs include Cody Bellinger, Corey Seager, Matt Kemp, Yasiel Puig, Justin Turner and Walker Buehler.

Saturday, August 18 . . . San Antonio Missions (7:05 PM) - Gates Open at 6:00 PM
TULSA'S CHANNEL 8 GRAND SLAM SATURDAY / OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER DRAWSTRING BAG GIVEAWAY
The first 1,500 fans through the gates will receive a free Drillers and Oklahoma City Thunder Drawstring Bag, courtesy of U.S. Cellular, Tulsa's Channel 8 and 97.5 KMOD.
In addition, it will be Oklahoma City Thunder Night at the ballpark. The Thunder will have its Thunderbolt display set up on Elgin Avenue right outside ONEOK Field. In the fan experience display, lockers will be set up for fans to take photos with a Russell Westbrook and Paul George's jersey amongst other things. There will also be a silent auction throughout the game where fans can bid on the special Thunder jerseys the Drillers wore in the game, a signed Russell Westbrook jersey, and two sets of four tickets to the exhibition game the Thunder will be playing in Tulsa. The auction will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Tulsa.
The Thunder's Rumble, the Storm Chasers, Thunder Girls and Thunder Drummers will all be in DrillVille for fans to meet!

Sunday, August 19 . . . San Antonio Missions (7:05 PM) - Gates Open at 6:00 PM

The first 500 kids, ages 12 and under, to enter through the Arvest or Oil Derrick Gates will receive a free Hornsby Baseball compliments of the Green Country Chevy Dealers, 2 Works for You and 106.9 KHITS.
It is also a Kids Eat Free Day with all young fans, ages 12 and under, receiving a coupon when they enter the stadium that will be redeemable for a free hot dog, a Hiland milk, fruit and ice cream.
After the game, kids can run the bases courtesy of Supercuts.
