Drillers Home July 4-9 for Special Homestand

The Tulsa Drillers will return to ONEOK Field on Wednesday, July 4 to begin a special six-game homestand. The Midland RockHounds (Oakland Athletics) will make their second trip to Tulsa this season for a three-game series to open up the homestand July 4-6, followed by the Frisco RoughRiders (Texas Rangers) also making their second trip to Tulsa this season for three games July 7-9.
Promotions for the homestand will include three straight fireworks shows to celebrate the Independence Day holiday. In addition, the Drillers will also be celebrating the city of Tulsa in the long-awaited 918 Nights from July 5-9 that will feature the team wearing special, alternate uniforms that were inspired by the new Tulsa flag. The 918 nights will include Military Appreciation Night (July 5), Made in Oklahoma food sampling (July 6), a Drillers Flag giveaway (July 7), Drillers Flag Socks giveaway (July 8) and Mega Money Monday (July 9).

The Drillers have played very well at ONEOK Field this season, going 20-14 in the first three months. It will be the first time that Midland and Frisco will be in Tulsa since early April. Earlier this year, the Drillers went 2-4 against the RockHounds and 5-1 against the RoughRiders.

INDEPENDENCE DAY - BIGGEST FIREWORKS SHOW OF THE YEAR!
The homestand opens up with the BIGGEST post-game fireworks show of the year to celebrate Independence Day, presented by River Spirit Casino, 2 Works for You and 97.5 KMOD.
The Drillers are also offering an all-you-can-eat ticket package in the Coors Light Cold Zone. For just $31 per person, you can enjoy the game from the Coors Light Refinery Deck that features high-back bar stools, picnic tables and fixed seats while offering stunning views of downtown Tulsa, ONEOK Field and the fireworks! The price includes our Tailgate menu that includes burger sliders, pulled pork sliders, buffalo wings, vegetable display, hummus trio, green chile queso dip, tortilla chips, watermelon and assorted cookies. The Drillers will also wear special stars and stripes caps that will be auctioned off to benefit a local charity.

918 NIGHTS / THIRSTY THRUSDAY / POST-GAME FIREWORKS
This will be the first 918 Night of the season! The night will include another post-game fireworks show and the Drillers wearing the special 918 Jerseys for the first time this season, presented by AARP Oklahoma, My41 and 98.5 KVOO.
It will also be Military Appreciation Night at the ballpark. To show our appreciation, anyone who is active or retired military and shows their ID at the ONEOK Field Box Office, will receive two free Field Reserved, Busch Terrace or General Admission Lawn tickets.
In addition, it will be Thirsty Thursday. 16 oz. sodas will be just $1, and fans age 21 and older will be able to enjoy Budweiser and Bud Light drafts for $1.

Our celebration of Tulsa and Independence Day will continue with the third Fireworks Night, presented by the Made in Oklahoma Coalition, FOX23 and K95.5.
Made in Oklahoma vendors will be on the concourse at the ballpark for fans to sample products that are made locally. Vendors include Suan's, Mountain View Meats, Ace in the Bowl Salsa, Griffin's, Andrew's Honey Bees, Daddy Hinkle's, Game on Salsa, Bar-S Foods, Diane's Signature Products, Seikel's Mustard, Shawnee Milling Company, No Man's Land Beef Jerkey, COOP Ale and Icing on the Top.

918 NIGHTS / DRILLERS FLAG GIVEAWAY
Saturday's 918 Night will feature a special Drillers Flag Giveaway, presented by HARSCO, Tulsa's Channel 8 and Z104.5 The Edge. The first 1,500 fans will receive a free flag that will resemble Tulsa's new flag and will also include the 918 Nights Drillers logo.
From 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM there will be a special Tulsa Flag Fest outside the stadium with local artist Count Tutu on the main stage. The festival will feature local food trucks, a corn-hole tournament, kids activities and vendors. Plus, the first 100 people into the festival will receive a Tulsa flag and a free General Admission ticket for the Drillers game that evening.
The American Red Cross will also have a mobile blood drive from 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Fans that want to donate blood will have an opportunity to do so right outside the ballpark! The Tulsa celebration will continue with a special 918 Kids Flag socks giveaway, presented by Green Country Chevy Dealers, 2 Works for You and 98.5 KVOO. The first 500 kids ages 12 and under through the gates will receive a pair of AWESOME Drillers Socks designed like the Tulsa flag.  
It is also Kids Eat Free Night with all young fans, ages 12 and under, receiving a coupon when they enter the stadium that will be redeemable for a free hot dog, a Hiland milk, fruit and ice cream.
After the game, kids will be able to run the bases courtesy of Supercuts.
