Turning Point<o:p>
Bobby Bradley hit a mammoth two-run home run off the giant inflatable slide in right field to give the RubberDucks a 4-3 lead in the fifth inning. The Ducks would go on to hold the momentum and the lead in the ballgame.<o:p>
Winging It<o:p>
In his Akron RubberDucks debut, lefty Tanner Tully worked six solid innings giving up six hits and three runs, all of which were unearned. Tully ran into trouble in the fifth following a two-error play, which allowed Deiner Lopez to reach third. Following an RBI single by Danny Mars, Rafael Devers hit a two-run home run. All three of the runs were unearned due to the double error play. However, Tully rebounded to throw a scoreless sixth and earned his first Double-A win. In relief Perci Garner worked two scoreless frames, striking out five of the seven batters he faced.<o:p>
Duck Tales<o:p>
Ducks slugger Bobby Bradley went 3-5 with a home run, two doubles and three RBI to propel the Ducks lineup. In the second inning Jonathan Laureano hit an RBI double to right field to extend the RubberDucks lead to 2-0. It was Laureano's first hit at the double-A level as he finished the game 2-3 with a walk and one RBI. Outfielder Luigi Rodriguez hit a two run homer in the eighth to extend Akron's lead to 8-3. It was Rodriguez's fifth home run of the season, four of which have been against Portland.<o:p>
Notebook<o:p>
Jorma Rodriguez was promoted to the Akron roster from class A Lake County prior to Saturday's game… Catcher Francisco Mejía continued his hitting terror going 2-4 and scoring two runs… Mejia is now hitting .512 (21-41) in his last ten games…    Time of Game: 2:41…Attendance: 8,284 (sellout). <o:p>
