Summary
Akron's Tyler Krieger had a pair of hits and three RBI, and Sicnarf Loopstok launched his ninth homer, as the RubberDucks throttled the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 13-3, in the opener of a three-game series at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester, N. Hamp.

Turning Point
The RubberDucks (33-25) blew the game open with a four-run fifth inning against Justin Dillon (0-1), going from ahead 3-1 to 7-1. After the first two hitters reached, Willi Castro executed a sacrifice bunt, but Dillon threw the ball wildly past first base for an error which allowed Tyler Krieger to score. Joe Sever laced an RBI double to make it 5-1, and chase Dillon from the game. Lefty Kirby Snead then surrendered an RBI single to Connor Marabell and uncorked a wild pitch to allow two more runs and put the Ducks up 7-1.
Mound Presence
Akron starter Sean Brady (2-3) was effective over his five innings, allowing three runs, two earned, on nine hits. Jon Edwards (1.2 IP), Jordan Milbrath (1.1 IP) and Mitch Brown (1.0 IP) provided perfect relief in support of Brady. The Ducks lowered their league-leading ERA to 2.79.
