Step up to the plate for an exclusive opportunity to take batting practice at Principal Park! The event will run 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11.
Cost is just $20 per participant and includes:
- 10 pitches from a pitching machine on the field at Principal Park
- Your name announced over the PA before your at-bat and your name on the left field ribbon board while you hit
- A souvenir Iowa Cubs mini-bat
Space is limited to 150 batters for the event. Accompanying fans who do not wish to participate are free to enter.
A limited concessions selection, including beer, will be available to purchase during the event. The Iowa Cubs Team Store will be open and all merchandise will be 25% off for attendees.
Social distancing guidelines will be in place, and hand sanitation stations will be available around the ballpark. Per order from the City of Des Moines, masks are required to enter the stadium and during the event. Some bats and helmets will be provided, though fans are encouraged to bring their own.
