PAWTUCKET, RI – More than 400 families received confirmed reservations within 24 hours for “Dining on the Diamond” at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, RI, which continues the next three weekends.

After seating a sold-out 162 tables during its “Opening Weekend” June 5-7, the club established a Waiting List, which exceeded 800. Yesterday (Tuesday), the club began fulfilling reservations at 10 a.m. for the weekends of June 12-14, 19-21 (including Father’s Day), and June 26-28. By 10 a.m. today, the club had accommodated more than 400 families—and yet the Waiting List rose to more than 1,000.

Fans can join the waiting list by visiting pawsox.com, where they can also place their orders.

The club will place 33 tables on the field for seatings that begin at 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 8 p.m. The club is complying with Rhode Island guidelines in light of the coronavirus pandemic, and fans are asked to wear masks (except when dining) and conduct self-screenings upon arrival at the stadium.

The 33 tables are a reference to the Longest Game in the history of professional baseball, played on this diamond in 1981. Special commemorations of that game, gentle baseball dinner music, and a photo montage of PawSox history are part of the presentation and atmosphere. This year is the 50th Anniversary of the Pawtucket Red Sox (1970-2020). They have played all of their seasons at 78-year-old McCoy Stadium
