(Harrisburg, Pa) - The Reading Fightin Phils (44-30) and Harrisburg Senators (33-43) split Tuesday night's double-header. Harrisburg won game one, 4-3 while Reading won game two, 4-1. <o:p>
Game One<o:p>
The Fightin Phils jumped out to a 2-0 lead against Senators starter Wirkin Estevez in the top of the second inning. Chace Numata led off the inning with a double then moved to third base on a single by Drew Anderson . Zach Coppola hit a sacrifice fly to score Numata for the first run of the inning. Carlos Tocci followed with a RBI double to score Anderson for run number two. <o:p>
Reading scored another run off Estevez in the top of the fourth as Tocci hit a two-out, RBI single to give the Fightin Phils a 3-0 lead over the Senators. Anderson scored on the play, after reaching base with his second base-hit of the game. It was the first time in his career he had two hits. <o:p>
Harrisburg scored two runs off Anderson in the bottom of the fifth inning to cut Reading's lead to 3-2. Yadiel Hernandez hit a lead-off home run in the inning and Darian Sandford hit a pinch-hit RBI single to score Stephen Perez. Anderson left the game after five innings. <o:p>
Austin Davis (2-1) entered the bottom of the sixth inning to pitch in relief of Anderson.    He issued a lead-off walk to catcher Raudy Read then gave up a one-out single to Yadiel Hernandez. Stephen Perez hit a go-ahead two-run single with two outs to give the Senators a 4-3 lead. <o:p>
Jimmy Cordero (2-2) pitched two scoreless innings in relief as he retired all six batters he faced for his second win of the season. <o:p>
Game Two<o:p>
The Senators took a 1-0 lead off John Richy in the bottom of the first inning. Osvaldo Abreu scored on a RBI ground-out by José Marmolejos after Abreu hit a one-out triple. Richy would settle down as he would proceed to retire six out of the next eight batters he would face.<o:p>
Senators starter Derek Self pitches three shutout innings without giving up a hit. He issued just one walk while recording three strikeouts.   Phillips Valdez entered the game to pitch in the top of the fourth inning. <o:p>
Reading would grab a 3-1 lead off Valdez in the top of the fourth inning. Mitch Walding hit a three-run home run off Valdez to score Harold Martinez and Jiandido Tromp . The home run was his 12th of the month and 18th of the season. <o:p>
Walding extended Reading's lead to 4-1 in the top of the sixth as he hit a sacrifice fly off Brady Dragmire to score Martinez. Alexis Rivero (2-1) pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings while issuing three walks for his second win of the season. Tom Windle pitched 2/3 scoreless of an inning with one strikeout. Yacksel Ríos celebrated his birthday in style by striking out the side in the bottom of the seventh inning to earn his second save of the season. <o:p>
