Fisher Cats' Heidt And 19-hit Attack Climb Over Yard Goats

Hartford, CT- Led by Gunner Heidt's home run and three hits, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats unleashed a 19-hit attack, to beat the Hartford Yard Goats,11-0, Saturday night, before a sellout crowd at Dunkin' Donuts Park. The second largest crowd in the young park's history, 6,843, gave the Yard Goats their third straight sellout and their 11th sellout of the season. Hartford has drawn 20,178 fans in its last three games. 

Losing back-to-back 1-0 games, the Fisher Cats let off steam against the Yard Goats. Every player in their lineup collected at least one hit and all but one hitter knocked in at least one run. Danny Jansen and Tim Lopes joined Heidt with three hits apiece.
Leading 2-0 entering the fourth inning, the Fisher Cats sent 11 batters to the plate, erupting for seven runs on eight hits. The first nine batters reached base in the inning. Two-run singles by Jonathan Davis and Harold Ramirez were the big hits in the frame, as Yard Goats pitcher Jack Wynkoop failed to retire a batter.
New Hampshire starter Sean Reid-Foley, ranked as the number two prospect in the Toronto Blue Jays organization, pitched six scoreless innings, allowed five hits and struck out eight to improve to 3-3. All three wins have come against the Yard Goats. Hartford managed just six hits, two by Juan Ciriaco.
The rubber game of the series and the homestand wrap up Sunday at 1:35 p.m.  Righthander Parker French will pitch for the Yard Goats against righthander Jon Harris for New Hampshire. The game can be heard on AM 1410 WPOP and iHeart Radio.
