The BayBears (57-65 overall, 27-26 second half) got off to a fast start against Trevor Richards (4-5), with RBI singles from Jose Rojas and Forrestt Allday in the first. Justin Anderson (3-2), Abel De Los Santos , Kevin Grendell , and Damien Magnifico tossed 4 1/3 scoreless frames of relief.
David Vidal and Braxton Lee both had three-hit games for Jacksonville (57-65, 27-25). The Jumbo Shrimp cut the early BayBears lead to just two runs and had the bases loaded in two innings. However, Mobile added three more runs in the seventh inning to seal the 10-4 victory.
