Former Radford Standout Kyle Zurak Set to Join Pulaski Yankees

Former Radford Highlander Kyle Zurakhas been called up to Pulaski from the New York Yankees Gulf Coast League affiliate in the Northwest Division.
Zurak appeared in a total of three games between the two New York Yankees Gulf Coast League affiliates. In five innings pitched he gave up four hits with one walk and struck out six batters.
Zurak was selected by the Yankees in the 8th round of the 2017 MLB Draft out of Radford University. He had an impressive senior season for the Highlanders picking up nine saves and 73 strikeouts in 60 innings of work.
He is set to join his new teammates on their current six-game road trip. The pinstripers return to Calfee Park on Monday, July 24th for a 7pm matchup against the Elizabethton Twins.
