Franco, Gorman Head Futures Game Rosters

2018 Appalachian League stars Wander Franco (Princeton), Nolan Gorman (Johnson City), and Jarred Kelenic (Kingsport) headline All-Star Futures Game Rosters.

Seven players on the announced rosters spent time in the Appalachian League. The American League roster will be managed by Appalachian League Hall of Famer Jim Thome (Burlington Indians 1990). His bench coach will be Charlie Manuel, who played for the Wytheville Twins in 1963. The bench coach for the National League will be Jerry Manuel, who played for the Bristol Tigers in 1972. The SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game will be played on Sunday, July 7th, at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
