Freddie Freeman Slated to Rehab in Charlotte

(UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) -- Atlanta Braves infielder Freddie Freeman , a two-time National League All-Star, is slated to start a rehab assignment with the Gwinnett Braves at BB&T Ballpark in Uptown Charlotte on Saturday, July 1^st. Freeman is currently on Atlanta's 10-day disabled list with a left wrist fracture.

In eight major league seasons (946 major league games), the Fountain Valley, CA native is a .290 career hitter with 152 home runs and 540 RBIs.
