The Pigs matched a franchise high with five home runs in the game and finished with 8 of their 11 hits going for extra bases.
Cole Irvin allowed five runs in the first two frames but was dominant in his final five innings. Irvin did not earn a decision, but went a Pigs' season-high seven innings and allowed just three Chiefs to reach base in the final five innings.
Beato retired the side in order in the ninth and is now a perfect 6-for-6 in save opportunities this season. Beato, who set the Pigs' single-season saves record with 33 in 2017 is now one away from becoming the career leader.
The Pigs hit the road for four games beginning tomorrow night in Rochester against the Red Wings. They return home to Coca-Cola Park for seven games beginning on Monday, May 7 against Pawtucket.
