Enyel De Los Santos improved to 3-0 on the season, tossing six scoreless innings and leading the IronPigs to an 11-3 victory over the Rochester Red Wings on Friday at Frontier Field. Danny Ortiz hit a pair of two-run home runs in the victory.

The IronPigs scored 10 runs in the first four frames and that was plenty of run support for De Los Santos. The most significant scoring burst came in the top of the second when the Pigs plated four runs against Rochester starter DJ Baxendale (0-1).
With Joey Meneses on base, Roman Quinn tripled to center to put the Pigs up 3-0. Quinn now has a 10-game hitting streak which matches Dean Anna for the longest hitting streak by an IronPigs this season.
Anna followed with a double before Danny Ortiz blasted his second two-run home run in as many innings to cap off the four-run inning.

Coming off his record-setting three-home-run performance, Dylan Cozens padded the IronPigs' lead with his IL-high seventh homer of the season in the top of the fourth. Cozens currently has an eight-game hitting streak and is batting .429 with four home runs and eight RBIs.
Joey Meneses continued to be a consistent bat in the Pigs' lineup driving in three runs in the ballgame. Reaching base four times and collecting three hits, Meneses is now batting .353 on the season.
The first five hitters in the IronPigs' lineup combined to go 8-for-23 (.348-3-8) in the game. They scored seven runs and reached base 10 times.
Recently named the Phillies Minor League Pitcher of the month, De Los Santos continued to stifle IL hitters. Allowing three hits and striking out eight, De Los Santos now leads Pigs starters with three wins and is tied with Ranfi Casimiro for the team lead. He has not allowed a run in 12.1 innings and in five starts has a 1.07 ERA.
The IronPigs go for the series win tomorrow at 1:05 p.m. Tom Eshelman looks for his second victory of the season and hopes to lift the Pigs to three games above .500.
