Garland and Barnes Join Mudcats Front Office
ZEBULON, N.C. - The Carolina Mudcats, the Class-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, are excited to announce today the addition of Tickets and Group Sales Associate Drew Garland and Creative Services Associate Ryne Barnes to the team front office ahead of the 2023 season at Five County Stadium in Zebulon.

Drew Garland enters his first season with the Carolina Mudcats and his first in Minor League Baseball. A 2022 graduate of NC State University, Garland previously worked in gameday operations with the North Carolina FC and the North Carolina Courage soccer teams. Garland is originally from Greensboro, NC and attended Ragsdale High School in Jamestown, NC.
Ryne Barnes
Creative Services Associate
Ryne Barnes, a 2022 graduate of Barton College, is entering his first season as a Creative Services Associate with the Carolina Mudcats. Barnes originally got his start in baseball in 2021 as a Video Production and Media Manager with the Wilson Tobs of the Coastal Plain League (CPL). While with the Tobs, Barnes and his broadcast team colleagues won the inaugural CPL Broadcast of the Year Award. Barnes is from Wilson, NC and graduated from the Wilson Academy of Applied Technology in 2020.
The Mudcats recently announced their 2023 regular-season schedule beginning on Friday, April 7 with the season opener in Fayetteville against the Woodpeckers. The first home game of the 2023 schedule is set for Tuesday, April 11 against the Salem Red Sox at Five County Stadium.
