September MLB roster expansion roundup

Top 30 organizational prospects making their move to the Majors
September 1, 2016

The 1st of September arrived Thursday, bringing one of the most significant days on the calendar for Major League rosters. Clubs can now add any members of their 40-man roster to their active Major League roster. That usually means a good amount of prospects step on the game's biggest stage over the course of just a couple of weeks.

Below you'll find a running list of players who are ranked among their organization's top 30 prospects, according to MLB.com, and have been called up to the Majors as part of September roster expansions. (Other notable non-prospects will also be included.) For more info on who could get the call, check out last Friday's Toolshed.
