Jackson, Tenn. - The Jackson Generals unveiled their 2018 schedule Tuesday, the team's last off day of the 2017 season. The Generals will play 140 games against the nine other Southern League teams, with 70 of those contests coming at home. The team is home for a second-straight year on the Fourth of July, and will also have Fireworks Shows after each of the ten Saturday home games on the schedule!

The Generals will open and close 2018 at home, starting the season with five against Jacksonville on Thursday, April 5. The team wraps up the season with five at home against Chattanooga, finishing September 3. Jackson's lone 10-game homestand begins with its third series of the year April 16 and runs through April 25.
Jackson is at home on July 4 for the second year in a row, and will host the Tennessee Smokies on Independence Day. That four-game series will open and close with fireworks! All told, there are currently 11 Postgame Fireworks Shows on Jackson's schedule for next season.
All but four of the team's series will be five games. The Generals have a pair of four-game sets and two six-game series as well. Ninety of the team's 140 games will come against teams in the North Division, with Birmingham (26) and Tennessee (24) the most frequent opponents. The Generals will play 50 games versus the South Division, playing one home and one road series against each of the five teams.
