The Kansas City Royals announced a series of transactions on Monday that impacts the Omaha Storm Chasers roster prior to this evening's matchup versus the New Orleans Baby Cakes at the Shrine on Airline.

Right-handed reliever Justin Grimm has joined the Storm Chasers on a Major League Rehab Assignment. He was placed on the Royals' 10-day Disabled List on April 22 with lower back stiffness.
Over seven Major League seasons with the Texas Rangers (2012-13), Chicago Cubs (2014-17) and Kansas City Royals (2018), the 29-year-old has accumulated a 19-22 record and 5.05 ERA (194 ER/345.2 IP) with 356 strikeouts in 295 appearances (19 starts). He was signed by the Royals to a Major League contract on March 18, 2018.
In addition, infielder Hunter Dozier has been recalled to Kansas City from Omaha. In 18 games with the Storm Chasers this year he has hit .254 (30-118) with 18 runs, seven doubles, one homer and 11 RBI, in addition to 24 walks and .346 on-base percentage. Dozier in eight contests with Kansas City in 2016 compiled a .211 average (4-19) with four runs, one double and one RBI after making his Major League debut on September 12, 2016.
In a corresponding move, infielder Manny Olloque has been transferred to Omaha from Extended Spring Training. In 106 contests with Low-A Lexington last year, the 22-year-old posted a .244 average (89-365) along with 52 runs, 18 doubles, two triples, six longballs and 44 RBI.
In addition, outfielder Bubba Starling has been placed on the Disabled List. In 11 games with Omaha this year he has accumulated a .257 average (9-35), adding five runs, two doubles and two RBI.
As a result of these transactions, the Storm Chasers' active roster stands at 25, in addition to Grimm on his Major League Rehab Assignment.
Omaha continues their eight-game road trip this evening in New Orleans, with first pitch scheduled for 7:00pm CT. RHP Trevor Oaks (2-3, 3.67) is expected to toe the rubber for the Storm Chasers, while the Baby Cakes are slated to send LHP Adam Conley to the hill.
Following their road trip, Omaha returns home to Werner Park to begin a nine-game homestand on Monday, May 21. First pitch of that series opener versus the New Orleans Baby Cakes is scheduled for 6:35pm CT.
Tickets are still available for that game and all remaining Storm Chasers home dates in 2018, and may be purchased atwww.omahastormchasers.com/tickets as well as by calling the Werner Park Ticket Office at (402) 738-5100. To view Ticket Office hours, please click here
