LAWRENCEVILLE, Georgia – Minor League Baseball™ (MiLB) announced tonight the league awards and All-Star teams for both Triple-A leagues, the International League and the Pacific Coast League. Gwinnett Stripers right-hander Owen Murphy was selected to the 2026 International League All-Star Team as one of four Starting Pitchers.

The 22-year-old Murphy, ranked the Atlanta Braves’ No. 10 prospect by MLB.com, went 5-8 with a 3.07 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and .198 BAA over 18 starts during his Triple-A debut with Gwinnett. He posted a team-high eight quality starts, including the first complete game of his career on September 8 at Jacksonville (6.0 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 5 SO).

Murphy’s award-winning campaign included a strong finish as he went 1-1 with a 1.29 ERA, 0.82 WHIP, and .128 BAA over his final five starts from August 6-September 8. In that month-long span, he led the International League in ERA, WHIP, and BAA.

Murphy is the 15th player in Gwinnett history to be selected to a season-ending International League All-Star Team, the fifth to be named as a Starting Pitcher.
