Harrisburg with eight in the final three, beat the 'Dogs 11-8

Portland, Maine - Rhett Wiseman hit a two-run triple in the top of the ninth and the Harrisburg Senators (17-19) defeated the Sea Dogs
(17-21) 11-8 in the series finale on Sunday afternoon at Hadlock Field. The Senators won the weekend series 3-1 and also took the season series 5-3.

Trailing 8-7 entering the ninth, Harrisburg put two men on with nobody out. Adam Lau (BS, L 1-4) threw a wild pitch that allowed Dante Bichette, Jr. to score and tie the game. After a walk to Nick Banks, Wiseman tripled into the right-field corner to plate two and give Harrisburg the 10-8 lead. Spencer Kieboom followed with a sac fly to make it 11-8.
Aaron Barrett (S, 23) shut the door in the bottom of the ninth for his league-leading 23rd save.
The Sea Dogs trailed 5-4 in the seventh and rallied for four runs. Bobby Dalbec worked a leadoff walk from Jordan Mills, then Joey Curletta doubled off the Maine Monster and Luke Tendler hit a bloop single to tie the game. Tate Matheny then hit a bouncer back to the mound and Mills threw wildly to first to allow Matheny to reach while Curletta scored on the play to give Portland a 6-5 lead.
Next, the Sea Dogs tried to pull off a double steal as Matheny was caught between first and second and Tendler was able to score to make it 7-5 while Matheny got back to first safely. Three batters later, Jeremy Rivera singled and Matheny scored on an error by center fielder Michael A. Taylor to extend the Portland lead to 8-5.
Harrisburg responded in the top of the eighth off of Jordan Weems. With the bases loaded and two out, Michael A. Taylor hit a pop-up to shallow center that was dropped by Brett Netzer and allowed two runs to score to make it 8-7.
The two teams combined for 19 runs, 29 hits, and seven errors.
Brad Boxberger (W, 1-1) earned the win with a scoreless inning of relief.
Taylor finished the game with four hits, including a home run and four RBIs. In the seventh, he hit a two-run homer off of Durbin Feltman on a 3-0 pitch. Three of Taylor's four Double-A home runs this season have come against Portland.
Harrisburg had initially jumped out to a 3-0 lead on an RBI double by Luis Sardiñas in the third and an error by Bobby Dalbec that allowed two runs to score in the fourth.
Portland answered in the bottom of the fourth on a two-out RBI single by Brett Netzer and a wild pitch by starter Tyler Mapes to make it a
3-2 ballgame.
The Sea Dogs tied it in the sixth on a two-out RBI single by Jeremy Rivera, then took their first lead on an RBI bunt single by Jarren Duran to score Jhon Nunez, who had walked.
Mapes lasted 5.2 innings in his start and allowed four runs (three earned) on nine hits while walking two and striking out six.
Portland starter Denyi Reyes went six innings and allowed three runs (two earned) on seven hits with no walks and seven strikeouts. Reyes has now gone six or more innings in 12 consecutive starts.
The Sea Dogs are off on Monday and open up a six-game trip on Tuesday night against the Richmond Flying Squirrels (Giants affiliate) from the Diamond in Richmond, Virginia.
