Hart dazzles in Portland's 4-0 win at Bowie

Tendler homers and Ockimey extends hit streak

Bowie, Md. - Lefty Kyle Hart (5-3) fired seven scoreless frames, leading the Portland Sea Dogs (25-41) to their third straight win, 4-0 over the Bowie Baysox (29-36) on Saturday night at Prince George's Stadium. Portland picked up their first road shutout of the season.

Hart scattered six singles on two walks, three walks and won his second straight start for the first time in his professional career. Also, Hart lowered his ERA to 2.51, which is now tied for the top spot in the league.
Portland went to work in the third inning, scoring three times off Jayson Aquino (L, 3-4). Josh Ockimey knocked in the first run with a bases-loaded single, but on the play, a throwing error by SS Anderson Feliz scored an additional run. Jordan Betts followed with a sacrifice fly. 
In the fourth, Luke Tendler hit a lead-off homer for the final run of the game. Tendler finished 2-for-4.
Daniel McGrath worked the final two innings on one hit and two strikeouts. 
The Sea Dogs and Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles affiliate) meet for the final time on Sunday afternoon with a 1:35 PM start from Prince George's Stadium. Lefty Matt Kent (3-4, 2.95) makes his 10th start of the season. Bowie counters with righty Lucas Long (1-7, 4.80).
