Hart pitches a gem in Sea Dogs' 5-1 win over Bowie

Portland, Maine - Kyle Hart held the Bowie Baysox (26-29) to just one run over seven innings and the Sea Dogs (21-36) took the middle game of the three-game series 5-1 on Wednesday night at Hadlock Field.

Hart (W, 4-3) worked his fourth straight quality start and lowered his season ERA to 2.81 in the process. The southpaw allowed five hits while walking one.
The Sea Dogs took a 2-0 lead early on a two-run double by Luke Tendler off of Lucas Long (L, 1-6). Tender hit a sac fly in the fourth and doubled again in the seventh and finished 2-for-2 with three RBIs.
Josh Ockimey hit his eighth homer of the season to lead off the fourth off of Long. Ockimey also doubled, walked, and scored twice.
Long allowed five runs (four earned) on five hits in 6.1 innings, he walked two and struck out two.
Jordan Weems pitched a scoreless eighth for Portland and Trevor Kelley shut the door with a perfect ninth.
The Sea Dogs and Bowie Baysox (Orioles affiliate) wrap-up their three-game series on Thursday morning beginning at 11:00 AM at Hadlock Field. LHP Matt Kent (3-3, 3.64) makes his 12th appearance of the season. Bowie counters with lefty Brian Gonzalez (0-2, 10.97)
