South Bend, IN - Beginning on Tuesday, May 26, the South Bend Cubs will return home for their next six-game series at Four Winds Field after a two-week road trip. They’re set to take on the Fort Wayne TinCaps, the High-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, for the second time in the past month. With summer on the doorstep, the series will feature Military Apreciation Weekend, another player bobblehead giveaway, and the arrival of Saturday night games.

SPECIALTY FOOD ITEMS
Located in the left-field corner next to the new Event Building, Franx Hot Dog Cart prepares a new opponent dog each week. This week, it’s the Apple Slaw Dog, a jumbo hot dog on a pretzel bun with white cheddar and apple coleslaw containing apples, onions, arugula, and apple cider vinegar.
The opponent cocktail will also be available at all concourse bars throughout the series. For the Fort Wayne series, it’s the Cranberry Apple Cocktail, which combines apple juice, orange juice, and cranberry vodka.

The South Bend Cubs are the High-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. Over the past 39 years, the team has won five Midwest League titles, most recently in 2022, and captured nine division titles. In 2023, the organization was selected as the Single-A Bob Freitas Award recipient by Baseball America. Four Winds Field, home of the South Bend Cubs, was voted Best High-A Ballpark in the country by Ballpark Digest in 2022 and 2023, having also won the award as a Low-A ballpark in 2017.
