CORPUS CHRISTI - Alejandro Torres stranded two in a shutout 10th and Alejandro Nuñez's third hit of the night sent the Hooks to a wild 8-7 win in 10 innings Tuesday night before 3,698 fans at Whataburger Field.
Corpus Christi, having captured four of the last five games, notched 13 hits to produce their sixth walk-off win of the season. The Hooks now have one last-at-bat triumph in each of their previous three homestands.

Nuñez, a 21-year-old from Cuba, went 3-for-4 with an RBI in his second Double-A game. His RBI came as part of five consecutive singles in a three-run second. Will Bush, Cameron Sisneros, Max Holy, and Kenni Gomez also joined the parade.
Jason Schiavone added an RBI double in the third with Yamal Encarnacion and Walker Janek teaming for run-scoring hits in the fourth. Janek, who plated a pair with a base hit up the middle, is batting .462 with two doubles, four home runs, and 13 RBIs over his last 10 games.
CC had generated seven runs on 11 hits over the first four innings before Patrick Copen struck out eight over 3 2/3 scoreless relief for Tulsa.
Following Joey Mancini's spot start, the Hooks employed five relievers to cover the remaining 6 1/3 innings
Amilcar Chirinos struck out three in 1 2/3 innings but he accounted for two of 11 walks by CC hurlers.
Torres struck breezed the first batter he faced to finish the ninth and, following an intentional walk to Josue De Paula, retired three in a row, including a strikeout looking to keep Tulsa at bay in the 10th.
