Hoosville Release Party

The Pensacola Blue Wahoos are pleased to announce Hoosville as the new name for the fan experience at the ballpark.

The announcement will happen on home plate, inside of the stadium, right after Egga-Wahooza on March 31st. Egga-Wahooza starts at 1:00 p.m. After the egg hunt, families are encouraged to walk over to Blue Wahoos Stadium for their release of "Hoosville."
Hoosville is replacing the "Wahoos Life" and redefining the fan experience at a Blue Wahoos home game.
In its simplest form: Hoosville is a magical place where the community comes together for fun, entertainment and oh yeah… Baseball!
We'll have a big party to celebrate Hoosville right after Egga-Wahooza. It's free to attend. There will be fun games, entertainment, and concessions available.
During the release party, we will have a special message from Blue Wahoos owner, Quint Studer. Then, Downtown Dave will tell us all the new amenities Hoosville has to offer this season.
 
Some of the new things you'll see in Hoosville this season:

• Cox Clubhouse virtual reality center
• New green outfield wall
• New application for season ticket holders
• New giveaway items like the Ben Lively bobblehead
• New meatball sub that was created by the new celebrity chef at Angelina's, Chef James Briscione.
  • He has been featured on the Food network and appears on "The Doctor Oz Show."
• The Pensacola Blue Wahoos have a new Executive Chef, Jason Perry.
  • He is the newest addition to the Blue Wahoos Catering Team. Chef Jason has been a resident of Pensacola for more than 20 years and has spent his entire culinary career in the restaurants of beautiful Downtown Pensacola. Chef Jason competed in the 2016 and 2017 World Food Championships and the Great American Seafood Cook-Off in August of 2017 where he represented the state of Florida.

Also, some of our Hoosville characters who will be present at the party are the cockroach, the Hotdog Girl, the pirate, our talented Flight Squad, and of course Kazoo!

The Pensacola Blue Wahoos are the Double-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. Established in 2012, the Blue Wahoos are in the Panhandle of Northwest Florida and play baseball at Blue Wahoos Stadium.
