Giavotella played in 413 regular season contests with the Storm Chasers over that four year span, compiling a .315 average (512-1626) with 248 runs, 111 doubles, six triples, 33 homers and 205 RBI, along with 44 stolen bases. He played on three Pacific Coast League Championship clubs in 2011, 2013 and 2014, while also helping lead Omaha to Back-to-Back Triple-A National Championships between 2013-14.
The 30-year-old's .338 batting average in 2011 ranks as the fifth-best in franchise history, and was the highest by a Storm Chasers player since 2011 until José Martínez broke the modern-day PCL record with a .384 mark in 2015. Giavotella also ranks third in franchise history in doubles, in addition to sixth in hits and RBI, as well as ninth in runs scored.
Giavotella spent the majority of the 2017 campaign in the Baltimore Orioles organization with Triple-A Norfolk, posting a .306 mark (147-333) along with 43 runs, 22 doubles, four triples, five homers and 45 RBI. In six Major League seasons between Kansas City (2011-14), the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (2015-16) and Orioles (2017), Giavotella has accrued a .255 average (318-1246) with 148 runs, 65 doubles, 11 triples, 14 homers and 125 RBI. He was selected by the Royals in the second round of the 2008 MLB Draft out of the University of New Orleans.
