FRESNO, Calif. - The seventh Fresno Grizzlies homestand of the 2017 season, the franchise's 20th, is scheduled for July 4 to July 8, with six games against the Salt Lake Bees (Los Angeles Angels) and Reno Aces (Arizona Diamondbacks). Tickets may be purchased at the Chukchansi Park box office, or anytime at FresnoGrizzlies.com. Here is a preview of the promotional schedule:
Tuesday, July 4 (6:35 p.m.) - July 4 presented by Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino and ABC 30: The alter-ego of the Fresno Grizzlies will be back on the field in special star-spangled red, white and blue tacos jerseys for the first Fourth of July on a Toyota Taco Tuesday in the Fresno Tacos era. The caps are currently available at the Fresno Grizzlies team store and FresnoGrizzlies.com (image attached), and the game-worn jerseys will be available for bid in a silent auction during the game, with winners receiving their jerseys autographed on the field after the game. Proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit the ALS Association. Other festivities planned for July 4 (all gates open at 5:05 p.m.):

  • The biggest Independence Day fireworks show in Fresno and the Central Valley: Fans will be invited to watch the show on the field following the game. The fireworks are presented by Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino and ABC 30.
  • July 4th All-You-Can-Eat BBQ: Just $35, which includes a game ticket and all-you-can-eat burgers, hot dogs, brisket, corn on the cob, potato salad and cookies and brownies. Any fan buying the all-inclusive BBQ ticket will also receive a FREE Grizzlies cap! The all-you-can-eat portion of the event lasts from 5:35 to 7:05 p.m.
  • $2 tacos for Toyota Taco Tuesday, including a $6 three-taco plate featuring a red, white and blue taco from two-time defending Taco Truck Throwdown Champion El Premio Mayor, who will have their truck at the game.
  • Three waterslides on the Tulare Plaza, better known as the "Growlifornia Monsoon."
  • There will be a $5,000 jackpot guarantee on the usual 50/50 raffle at all home games.
  • Mini-American flag giveaway, for the first 2,500 fans through the gates.
  • Live music before the game, featuring "Snake Eye Syndicate."

Wednesday, July 5 (7:05 p.m.) - Hump Day: Well drinks will be just $4 and wine specials for $2 until the end of the 5th inning. Fans can take advantage of these deals during every Wednesday home game in 2017.
Thursday, July 6 (7:05 p.m.) - Tecate Thursday: 24 oz Tecate and Tecate Light cans are just $2 on Thursdays, through the end of the 5th inning, and fountain sodas are just $1 the entire game. Happy Hour: Get a 12-oz. beer (or fountain soda), burger and fries for just $5 every Thursday home game from when gates open (6:05 p.m.) to first pitch!
Friday, July 7 (7:05 p.m.) - Military Appreciation Night presented by PG&E: All active military personnel may take advantage of a FREE field level reserve tickets, and a discounted rate of $6 for family and friends. Friday Night Fireworks will follow the game, presented by Fresno Madera Farm Credit. Friday will also be the ONLY 25-cent hot dog night of the season presented by Farmer John! Farm Grown Fridays: The popular farmer's market, prior to and during the game on the third base/left field concourse, returns for each Friday home date in 2017, presented by Whole Foods Market.  
Saturday, July 8 (DOUBLEHEADER, 5:05 p.m.) - Tri-Tip Throwdown presented by JD Food: Included in your price to the game is the chance to determine the best tri-tip in the Central Valley! For a $10 entry to the Tulare Plaza (including game-ticket), fans can enjoy free tri-tip samples, as at least 20 professionals and amateurs vie for Tri-Tip Throwdown Champion. Cornhole tournament: The Dawg Pound League will again host a massive cornhole tournament at Chukchansi Park, which will begin toward the end of game one lasting through game two of the doubleheader.
