FRISCO--Missions starter Brett Kennedy stymied the Roughriders over seven solid innings and San Antonio won it's fourth straight, 6-1, Thursday night at Dr. Pepper Ballpark.

Luis Urías finished with three hits and drove in three runs while Nick Schulz hit a prodigious three-run homer in the opening inning to back a 13-hit attack.

Kennedy didn't give up a run until his final inning when Royce Bolinger hit a two-out solo homer to left. The Mission right-hander allowed only three hits while walking two in going seven innings for the third time this season.

The win was Kennedy's team-leading eighth of the year and snapped his personal two-game losing streak.

San Antonio has assaulted Frisco pitchers with 28 hits thru the first two games of the four-game set. They collected 18 total hits in over their three previous games.

Kennedy's outing continued a series of strong performances of late from Mission starting pitchers, who have allowed just two earned runs across 25 innings in the last four games.

The Missions have permitted three runs over that stretch while allowing just 11 runs in the last six contests.

San Antonio has hit .305 while scoring 33 runs in their last six games at Dr. Pepper Ballpark.
