WILMINGTON, DE – The Frederick Keys dropped game six of the seven-game series to the Wilmington Blue Rocks (Nationals) Saturday night, falling by a score of 1-0 at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium.

The Keys and Blue Rocks had another pitchers dual game on Saturday night with the lone run coming in the bottom of the fourth, as the Keys look to finish the series strong on Sunday afternoon in the series finale.

Twine Palmer recorded a 1-2-3 bottom of the first for Frederick while throwing only five pitches, allowing both sides to remain scoreless through an inning of play to begin the night.

Following both sides going off the board in the second, Palmer struck out the last batter he faced in the bottom of the third to escape a jam, taking the contest to the fourth still scoreless in Wilmington.

The Blue Rocks brought home the lone run of the night on a stolen base at home, giving the home team an early 1-0 lead through four innings at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium.

After the Keys and Blue Rocks traded zeros in the fifth, Carson Dorsey worked out of trouble and left two runners on base in the bottom of the sixth, allowing the Keys to head into the seventh still trailing by only one at 1-0.

With both teams finishing with zeros in the seventh, Dorsey headed back for the bottom of the eighth and threw his fourth scoreless inning of the night in 1-2-3 fashion, taking the contest to the ninth with Frederick down by one.

Despite the Keys putting the tying run on base in the top of the ninth inning, the Blue Rocks kept the Keys scoreless in the final frame, winning by a score of 1-0 Saturday night from Frawley Stadium in Wilmington.

Box Score

The series finale between the Keys and Blue Rocks is set for Sunday afternoon, with first pitch set for 1:05 p.m. from Daniel S. Frawley Stadium.
