Frederick however roared back with a seven-run top of the fifth as the scoring started with a Jersey Shore error that brought home two runs, which was then followed by a bases loaded walk drawn by Félix Amparo that made it 7-4.

From there, two-RBI doubles hit by Enddy Azocar and Diaz brought home four more runs for the Keys, putting the score at 11-4 in favor of Frederick entering the sixth in the series finale.

Jersey Shore got four runs back in the bottom of the sixth and cut the lead back to three, as the back-and-forth battle moved into the seventh with the Keys still hanging on to a three-run lead at 11-8.

Diaz added his fourth RBI in the top of the seventh on a two-out RBI double, putting the Keys lead back up to four at 12-8 approaching the eighth in the last game of the six-game road trip.
