The 2016 first-round draft picked surrendered a career high seven runs Thursday night and allowed two more homers as he suffered his first loss in three Double-A decisions.
He also became the first hitter in the Texas League this year to string together three hitting streaks of 10 games or longer.
The Roughriders snapped a five-game losing streak to the Missions and beat San Antonio for only the third time in 13 games in Frisco.
The Missions have now allowed 38 runs in the last seven games after surrendering only 39 runs in their 13 previous contests.
