Llovera (7-7) dazzled in the start in game one for Clearwater. He spun a seven-inning complete game for the Threshers, giving up two runs on four hits, permitting just one walk and striking out a career-high 11.
Down to the last seven games in the regular season, Clearwater (72-57) (40-22) remains in first place in the FSL North. The Threshers are four games ahead of the Lakeland Flying Tigers.
After rain postponed Saturday night's contest, the two second half leaders competed in a doubleheader on Sunday.
Charlotte (70-58) (36-25) got on the scoreboard swiftly in game one.
The Threshers got a run back in the third.
Clearwater rallied to walk off in the seven-inning contest. Back-to-back walks began the inning for the Threshers, and Moniak ripped his second RBI double of the ballgame to knot it up, 2-2.
