FRISCO, Texas (June 26, 2019) - Former Riders pitcher Locke St. John made his Major League debut with the Rangers Tuesday night.
The southpaw entered in relief during Tuesday's game in Detroit and retired both batters he faced. He began the season with the Riders, where excelled with a 1.52 ERA and four saves across 22 outings before earning a promotion to Triple-A Nashville.
St. John became the 157th former Riders player to make his Major League debut and the eighth this season.
The Riders are back for seven games at Dr Pepper Ballpark Thursday, June 27-Wednesday, July 3. Tickets for those games and all remaining regular-season home games - running now through August 25 - are available at RidersBaseball.com.
