- Starting pitcher Josh Javier hurled five strong innings. He gave up a lone run on one hit and struck out seven. His ERA is a miniscule 1.31 after five starts and the 20-year-old has punched out 25 batters in 20.2 innings.
- Kellen Strahm launched a solo homer in the third inning, his second of the season. He extended his hitting streak to nine games and is hitting .347 in 12 games from the leadoff spot.
- Blaine Crim was on base three times and drove in the first run of the game. The 19th round draft pick has a .317 batting average inside Avista Stadium.
