KINGSPORT, TN - The Greeneville Reds (1-2) dropped the series finale against the Kingsport Mets (2-1) at Hunter Wright Stadium 13-6 in the first road game of the season. LHP Andy Fisher struck out five in 3.1 innings of relief in his professional debut.
Kingsport sent eight to the plate and scored four times in the second. LA Woodard walked with two outs and runners on second and third, but the ball got away from Reina allowing Cristoper Pujols to score.
Ivan Johnson doubled off LHP
After Cerda's RBI-single in the top of the sixth, Kingsport sent eight to the plate and scored five in the bottom half. Guerrero led off the inning with a solo home run to right field off LHP Jose Zorilla. Palmer's sacrifice fly with the bases loaded, scoring Woodard, ran the Mets lead to 9-4.
